Mountfield SP42
The SP42 is a great self-propelled, petrol-driven mower. Powered by the dependable Mountfield ST120 Auto choke engine and the 41cm cutting width combine to produce a hard-working, dependable and easy to use mower.
The mower is robust with a steel chassis and simple to operate. It has a centralised lever to adjust the cutting height of the blade – there are six different positions to choose from depending on the length of grass you are cutting – and clippings are collected into a capacious 60-litre canvas grass catcher.
To save time and to add nutrients to your lawn, simply fit the mulching plug (supplied with the mower) and as you mow, clippings are finely cut and redistributed back onto the lawn surface. This a super mower for the small to medium-sized garden - weighing in at 25kg and possessing fold-down handles, it is easy to move around the garden and store. It is also backed by a two-year warranty.
